Facebook recently launched “Facebook Watch” and Instagram’s “IGTV” putting pressure on Youtube.

In response Youtube has announced 3 new tools which focus on giving their content creators more ways to monetize their contents and improve engagement. Namely covering subscription membership, mechandise catalogues, and live broadcasts.
